Anti refraction (AR): Anti-reflective coating (also called AR coating or anti-glare coating) is a microscopically thin multilayer coating that eliminates reflections from the front and back surface of eyeglass lenses. By doing so, AR coating makes your lenses nearly invisible so people can focus on your eyes, not distracting reflections from your eyeglasses. Anti-reflective coating also eliminates glare caused by light reflecting from your lenses. With reflections eliminated, lenses with AR coating provide better vision for night driving and more comfortable vision for reading and computer use.

Premium AR (Super Hydrophobic): A superhydrophobic coating is a thin surface layer that repels water. It is made from superhydrophobic (ultrahydrophobicity) materials. Droplets hitting this kind of coating can fully rebound. All regular AR coating benifit in included in this type coating.

Single vision vs bifocal vision eyeglasses: If your prescription does not specify add power, your prescription is for distance vision only. If your prescription comes with add power, it is a bifocal prescription. It will correct both of distance vision and near vision corrections. However, you have the option do make a distance vision correction eyeglasses or reading eyeglasses only. Our order system provides options for you to do so.

Prism base is abbreviated for up, down, in, or out, while prism power is measured in Prism Diopters (PD; not to be confused with Pupillary Distance) on a scale of every half centimeter, such as 1.0 or 3.5. Prism may be prescribed in just one eye or both eyes.
